Rev.
Dr. John A. Vissers, B.A.
(Tor.), M.Div. (Knox, Tor.), Th.M. (Princeton), Th.D. (Knox, Tor.),
Principal of the College and Faculty Lecturer in Theology, McGill Faculty
of Religious Studies. Dr. Vissers is an ordained minister of The Presbyterian
Church in Canada, and has served congregations in British Columbia and
Ontario, including historic Knox Church Toronto. Earlier he was for
eight years Professor of Systematic Theology at Ontario Theological
Seminary, now Tyndale Seminary, in Toronto. His research interests include
Reformed theology, contemporary theology and constructive Christian
doctrine.
Rev.
Dr. Dale Woods, B.A. (U. Alberta), M.C.S. (Regent, Vancouver),
M.Div. (VST), D.Min. (Luther Sem., St. Paul, MN), Director of Pastoral
Studies. Dr. Woods has served as Senior Minister at First Presbyterian
Church, Brandon, MB, since 1994. His previous experience includes teaching,
administrator and subsequently as headmaster of a private school, and
work as an administrator and teacher at a bible school. His primary
interests are in preaching, congregational life and leadership, organization
change and spiritual formation.
Rev.
Dr. Daniel Shute, B.A. (U. of Guelph), M.Div. (Knox, Tor.),
M.L.S. (McGill), Ph.D. (McGill), College Librarian. Dr. Shute is an
ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church in Canada, and has served
in a pastoral charge in New Brunswick. He has been librarian of the
College since 1980 and teaches College seminars on preaching and Presbyterianism.
His research interest is focused on the Italian Reformer, Peter Martyr
Vermigli.
Prof.
Jim Kanaris, B.A. (Concordia),
M.A., Ph.D. (McGill), Faculty Lecturer in Philosophy of Religion at
McGill. Dr. Kanaris is also a Member and Elder of Westminster Presbyterian
Church, Pierrefonds. Among his key interests is to bridge philosophical
and theological reflection for more effective and honest ministry.
Prof.
Gerbern Oegema, B.A., M.Div. (Amsterdam), M.A., Ph.D. (Berlin),
Dr. Theol. Habil. (Tübingen), Associate Professor of Hebrew Bible and
Greco-Roman Judaism at McGill. Prof. Oegema began university teaching
in 1986 in Amsterdam and Berlin. He was Assistant Professor in Münster
in 1992, in Tübingen from 1995 to 1997, and taught there as Privatdozent
from 1997 before coming to McGill in 2002. He is a member of the Church
of St. Andrew and St. Paul.
Dr.
Shuling Chen, B.Th. (Taiwan), M.S.W., Ph.D. (McGill), Chaplain
and Director of Educational Programmes. Ms. Chen has a background in
Theology and Christian Education. She has studied Clinical Pastoral
Education and her research interest focuses on the spiritual and cultural
care of the terminally ill and the bereaved.

Caroline
O'Connor, Administrative Assistant. Ms. O'Connor worked previously
at the Faculty of Graduate Studies, McGill, and the Montreal Children's
Hospital. She has worked at the College since January 1998 and also
manages the student residence.
Sandra
Steadman, College Accountant. Ms. Steadman began work at the College
in May 2004.
Mr.
Mario Elvé, Building Superintendent. Mario has worked at the College
since 1983.

Stéphane Richard, Assistant Superintendent. Stéphane began
work at the College in 2004.
