1. THE L. W. ANDERSON LECTURES
Through the generosity of the late
L.W. Anderson, a prominent Montreal businessman and for many years
a benefactor of Presbyterian College, a lectureship was established
in 1949, making it possible to bring to the College scholars of
worldwide stature. In recent years they have included: Raymond E.
Brown (1988), George Lindbeck (1991), Alister McGrath (1992), Richard
Hays (1997), Diogenes Allen (1999), Douglas Hall (2000).
2. THE ALISON STEWART-PATTERSON
MEMORIAL LECTURES
These lectures, established in 1994
in memory of the Rev. Dr. Alison Stewart-Patterson, are on the subject
of mutuality of men and women in the ministry of the Church and
on the role of women in the Church. Recent lecturers have been Dr.
Kathleen Roberts Skerrett (1997) and Prof. Elsie McKee (1998).

3. THE WILLIAM LYALL LECTURESHIP
The William Lyall Lectureship was
established in memory of Prof. William Lyall of Dalhousie University
and of his great grandson. Lecturers have included Alec C. Cheyne,
John McIntyre, M.H. Ogilvie, Thomas F. Torrance and David F. Wright.
