Keeping things affordable

Tuition

Home > Admission > Tuition

At The Presbyterian College, we know that student debt is a major concern. Therefore, the College keeps fees as affordable as possible while also making bursaries and scholarships available. Quebec offers some of the lowest tuition in Canada and yet provides excellent educational opportunities for students.

International students will find that our rates are some of the most competitive in North America. All students who are enrolled in McGill programs as affiliated students (BTh, STM) pay their tuition to The Presbyterian College, rather than to the university.

Presbyterian College reserves the right to make annual changes to tuition fees or other fees, communicated as early as possible to students. (Annual increases are usually in the range of 2-5%.)

NOTES:

For Quebec students, the tuition fees for MDiv 1 and MDiv 2 are higher than for the BTh program (when enrolment is in the same classes). This is due to higher program costs for the M.Div. degree, and these higher program costs are distributed across the three years of the program. Thus the difference in posted tuition fees for Quebec students (between the B.Th. and the M.Div.) represents the additional program costs of the M.Div. program.

Presbyterian College Student Fees include administrative fees, college retreat, lunch program, technological services, library fees, and convocation fees. Students taking fewer than 9 credits per term pay 50% of the Presbyterian College fees.

McGill fees are set by McGill and are paid directly to McGill. McGill fees indicated here are approximate.

For international students, McGill fees include a charge for health and dental plans. Canadian students from other provinces must verify whether their medical insurance will cover them in the province of Quebec.

The intercultural learning experience fees are charged in MDiv Year 3.

International students in the MDiv 3 must demonstrate that they hold valid health insurance for the duration of the academic year, to be obtained at their own cost.
