Online Course: Constructive Theology for the Scientific Age

The Presbyterian College and Montreal School of Theology are offering an advanced course in Christian Theology in online/webinar format in the Fall of 2017. The course will address theological questions in the area of Christian Doctrine with a focus on the relationship between Theology and Science. Click here for the poster.

The instructor for the course will be Professor Ashley Moyse, who is a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Theology and Science at Regent College, Vancouver. In addition to his role at Regent he also holds honorary research appointments at Vancouver School of Theology and the University of Divinity (Melbourne). With training in both the applied human sciences and in constructive and moral theology, he is interested in exploring the implications of theology for the human and natural sciences, technology, and medical humanities.

The course will run from September 6 to Dec 6, 2017. All webinars will be held on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. EST


Students who are already enrolled in the Master of Divinity program, or in the Certificate of Theology program, may register as a regular student. Those who are not enrolled in one of these programs may register for the course as a Special Student. For more information on registration as a special student, please see here.

If you are registering only for the online course the tuition for the course is $370, plus fees of $75.


The M.Div. program of The Presbyterian College/Montreal School of Theology is accredited by the Association of Theological Colleges, and the course offered is a core course within the M.Div. curriculum.
