Bachelor of Theology
The Bachelor of Theology is a foundation degree for students seeking spiritual leadership within their community, including ordination for ministry. Applicants must apply to both The Presbyterian College and McGill School of Religious Studies in order to qualify for admission.

Master of Divinity
The Master of Divinity is the most recognized and accepted degree for ordination and helps students develops the skills and competencies needed for rewarding pastoral ministry in various denominations.
Applicants must apply to both The Presbyterian College and McGill School of Religious Studies in order to qualify for admission.

Master of Divinity with Specialization in Congregational Renewal & New Church Development
Designed for students specifically interested in Church renewal, the Master of Divinity with Specialization sees students participate in two summer placements as well as additional readings and workshops. Study theology with the goal of renewing the church

Master of Sacred Theology
The Master of Sacred Theology (S.T.M.) is a post-graduate program that gives students a strong foundation for faith-based work in number of fields, including teaching and similar fields. Graduates may also seek ordination with the additional completion of the Diploma in Ministry (In-Ministry Year.) The S.T.M also incorporates a new Faith-to-Faith program—study theology for interfaith dialogue.
Applicants must apply to both The Presbyterian College and McGill School of Religious Studies in order to qualify for admission.

Diploma in Ministry (In-Ministry Year)
Master of Divinity students whose denominations require them to complete a further year of study—the In-Ministry Year—in order to be eligible for ordination are awarded a Diploma in Ministry.

Offered in collaboration with the Montreal School of Theology, Certificate in Theology program is designed for anyone seeking spiritual enrichment and a deeper understanding of Christian faith.

The General Assembly Certificate and the Special General Assembly Certificate are designed for mature students (35-60) who do not possess standard academic qualifications and are seeking ordination for ministry within The Presbyterian Church of Canada. Applicants apply directly to Ministry and Church Vocations at The Presbyterian Church in Canada.

McGill University offers graduate programs leading to the Master of Arts (M.A.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees in Religious Studies. For students pursuing a path to ministry, there may be some opportunity to enrol in this program as a student of The Presbyterian College.
