Scholarships

The Presbyterian College provides entrance scholarships and on-going scholarships for students who have demonstrated academic success and demonstrated a commitment to, and gifts for, ministry within the church. We are grateful for the legacy of those who have contributed throughout the history of the College to make such scholarships available for those pursuing theological studies.

The various scholarship available in support of your studies at The Presbyterian College are listed here, with the terms for each. When you complete your online application to the college, you will have an opportunity to indicate any scholarship for which you wish to apply and may be eligible.

McKenzie/McLellan/Mitchell Entrance Scholarships

$2,500 each

To be awarded to a student entering the B.Th. (as a first degree) or M.Div. program, with a demonstrated record of academic success.

Faith to Faith, Master of Sacred Theology Scholarships

$12,000

The Faith to Faith program provides significant financial support to international students who have a demonstrated capacity for church leadership in their home context. For the application requirements of the Faith to Faith program, be in touch with us at [email protected].

Alison Stewart-Patterson Scholarship

$2,000

For women students studying at The Presbyterian College for service within the Church.

PC Scholarship for International Students in the STM degree

$10,000

For international students enrolling in the one-year Master of Sacred Theology program, with a focus on aboriginal students. Active participation in a form of ministry within the church is a requirement for any recipient. This scholarship requires a letter of reference/endorsement from a church context.

New Church Development Scholarship, within M.Div. program

$5,000/year for 3 years

For students with an interest in, and aptitude for, new church development. Students awarded this scholarship must apply, and be accepted to the M.Div, with a specialization in New Church Development. For more information, see the bottom of this page.

Lennox Biblical Studies Scholarship

$2,000

Awarded to a student who has demonstrated success in the area of biblical studies, and in the study of the original languages of the Christian scriptures, usually granted in the second year of the M.Div. program.
