The Presbyterian College community was saddened to learn of the passing of alumnus Rev. Dr. Floyd McPhee on June 23, 2022. The Rev. Dr. McPhee graduated in 1963 and in 2002 was granted the college’s honorary doctorate degree. We have shared the obituary published by The Presbyterian Church in Canada below.
The Rev’d Dr. Floyd R. McPhee, Minister Emeritus of Parkwood Church, Ottawa and long-time member of the Presbytery of Ottawa, died on June 23, 2022.
A memorial service is planned for Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Parkwood Church, 10 Chesterton Drive, Ottawa, also to be livestreamed, followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall, and thereafter inurnment at Admaston Cemetery (IPR), near Renfrew, at 2:30 p.m.
